Real Estate Activity

 Single Family Resales in the Jacksonville area dropped slightly in July as compared to a year ago, but the year-to-date (YTD) numbers are essentially the same.  The Total Dollar Volume for Single Family Resales was down only 4% in July (not shown).  Condo Resales were up by more than 18%. Condo Resales Total Dollar Volume was a little over $38 million dollars (not shown).  Pre-foreclosure filings continued a sharp decline that started last year with the "moratorium" on foreclosures and the unresolved legal issues related to the foreclosure process.  Foreclosures year-to-date are down by a little more than 50%.
